St Andrew’s church, Caunton

The beautiful 12th century church of St Andrew is situated in the centre of Caunton and is the main feature of the village. Although a large part of the interior is Norman, over the following centuries, there have been enlargements and alterations, not least of which being the tower, which was completed in the 15th century.

St Andrew’s church is a lovingly maintained building at the heart of the village. Located next to the Beck, the church and grounds are a haven of peace.

St Andrew’s is a friendly and outward-looking church, offering an opportunity to discover and explore faith in Jesus Christ, alongside being a village meeting point and venue for events, and a special place to mark and celebrate life’s events, such as baptisms, weddings or funerals.
